The most adequate solution for Brazilian Clubs
Enormous Business Potential
Today for the majority of clubs, the average of the general public attending games in stadiums is less than 0.5% of its supporters. For the Brazilian Championship and according to CBF, the average of attendance is:
- At series A 12.401 people per game;
- At series B 7.958 people;
- At séries C 3.247 supporters.
Based on this in the year 2006, the total amount of ticket revenues collected was of the order of the 85.1 million reais, from which 52.6 million came from games in series A.
Imagine the increase in revenue from Stadiums with better conditions, if instead of the 0.5% of supporters attending the stadium to support their team, it began to get close to the 54% realised in Europe.
Soccer is the main event in a Modern Stadium but it is not the only one, it can and must have other functions and should be used as close as possible to 365 days per year. Other events like Concerts and Shows, and activities that attract the corporate and general public.
Comparing with an European example, where the quality of the Stadium attracts the corporate and general public:
- In 2006/2007 the German Championship had average number of paying spectators of 37.644.
- Series A of the Brazilian Championship in 2006 only had 12.401.
- It is estimated that there are 100 million soccer supporters in Brazil, a number which is much greater than the one verified in Germany.
